For our outdoor plant department we are looking for an experienced Outdoor Plants Sales employee.

Who you are:

• You have great experience in gardening.
• You know all plants by its name and you have excellent skills nurturing plants.
• You have experience working with outdoor plants and you are looking for a new challenge.
• You have a hands-on attitude.
• You are a team player, but are also capable to work independently.
• You speak Papiamento and English. Any other language is a plus.
• You know how to sell.
• You know what it means to offer good service.

This is what you will do:

• Assist in the sale of plants and other garden center merchandise.
• Provide clients with plant care advise.
• Ensures & re-check regularly that all plants have the right price label.
• Nurture the plants in your section; being: pruning if needed, watering sufficiently and on time, check and act on health condition, usage of pesticides & fertilizer in case needed, plant (re-)potting and help colleagues in their section when needed.
• Ensure your section is clean and representative at all times..
• You will also perform light lifting.
• Perform other duties as assigned for by the Assistant Manager or General Manager.
• Reports to the assistant manager.

• Full-time job 40-44 hours per week.
• We offer, besides a market conform salary, also a performance bonus.
